The Oaks is a Traditional Pub with Restaurant and Bedrooms set just outside of the Historical Alnwick Town Centre, a popular Tourist Destination. We have a Restaurant, Small Function Room and Bar Area available for Dining as well as a Large Outdoor Area.We have 13 guest bedrooms.
Experience in a similar role is essential. Must have experience working on the bar and be confident dealing with customers.
Shifts will vary over Days/Evenings/Weekdays/Weekends.
You should have good time keeping skills and be reliable.
You will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service to all of our guests and customers.
Daily tasks will include but not be limited to:
Opening/Closing Shifts
Serving Food & Drinks
Taking Orders
Dealing with Customer Feedback and directing this to the relevant staff members.
Cash Handling/Card Payments
Taking Bookings in Person & Over the Phone
Monitoring Online Booking Systems
You well be able to work well as part of a team and cope under pressure.
