Position Overview
Your expertise for family law will be key as you will provide advice and support to the firm's valued clients, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of them and their families, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Responsibilities
1. Handle private law proceedings, Family Law Act proceedings, divorce and separation cases, and financial orders
2. Draft and review co-habitation agreements, pre & post nuptial agreements
3. Conduct own advocacy in court proceedings
4. Provide outstanding client care, ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout their legal processes
5. Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with clients, colleagues, and other legal professionals
6. Work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Requirements
7. Must have strong experience in all aspects of family law
8. Strong advocacy skills and ability to conduct own advocacy
9. Excellent client care and communication skills
10. Familiarity with CCMS and Legal Aid
11. Children Panel membership or other relevant accreditation (desirable)
