Overview
We're seeking three (3) professional and licensed SIA Security Guards/Door Supervisors to manage security and safety for a local outdoor event in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire.
Event & Position Summary
* Role: SIA Licensed Security Guard/Door Supervisor
* Number Required: 3 Guards
* Location: Outdoor Venue, Fishguard (Specific address to be provided upon confirmation)
* Date: Friday, 21st of November 2025
Key Responsibilities
The primary objective is to maintain a safe and secure environment for all attendees, staff and property throughout the event. Given the outdoor, evening nature of the event, vigilance and effective crowd management are key. Duties will include:
* Public Safety & Crowd Control: Maintaining order, managing attendee flow, and ensuring safety in crowded areas.
* Access/Egress Monitoring: Supervising entry and exit points and providing directions as needed.
* Perimeter Security: Conducting regular patrols of the immediate event area and perimeter to deter unauthorized entry or activity.
* Incident Management: Responding promptly and professionally to any disturbances, conflicts, or emergencies, and liaising with the Event Manager.
* General Assistance: Providing a helpful and visible presence, answering basic queries from the public, and directing them to facilities.
* Equipment: Guards must be prepared for an outdoor evening event (appropriate uniform, warm/waterproof attire, torch, etc.).
Essential Requirements
* Must possess a valid, current SIA Security Guard (SG) or Door Supervisor (DS) Licence.
* Proven experience in event security, especially in outdoor or public environments, is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills and a calm, authoritative demeanour.
* Reliability and punctuality are paramount.
* Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods in varying weather conditions.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
