Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
* Conduct fault diagnosis on a variety of vehicles using diagnostic equipment
* Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs to vehicle standards
* Complete MOTs, subject to holding an active MOT licence
* Ensure all work adheres to health and safety procedures and quality standards
* Accurately report vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the management team
* Maintain a tidy and organised workshop environment, complying with health and safety regulations
* Assist fellow team members in achieving workshop targets and customer satisfaction as a Vehicle Technician
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
* Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
* Experience in fault diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
* Motivated, reliable, and able to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop setting
* A team player with good communication skills
* Active MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
