Salary: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Long-term / Permanent
GSL Education London Branch are delighted to be looking for a Sociology and Health & Social Care Teacher to join a vibrant coeducational comprehensive secondary school and sixth form in Tower Hamlets. Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Sociology and Health & Social Care across KS4 and KS5.
* Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full academic potential.
* Assess, track, and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
* Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and wider school life.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Sociology and/or Health & Social Care at secondary or sixth form level.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A genuine passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
