Job Title: Allocator
Location: Liverpool Airport
SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off, 40 hours per week
PAY RATE: £12.50 PER HOUR
Purpose:
The Allocators are responsible for ensuring an effective and efficient operation by allocating resources to specific tasks within defined time frames, utilizing Inform, in order to meet client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor the issuing and receiving of equipment to all staff
2. Assign staff to new jobs using Inform and monitor their progress
3. Assist the Duty Managers and Supervisors with ensuring adequate staffing levels
4. Keep the Duty Manager informed of potential delays or problems
5. Collate incoming requests for assistance, update Inform, plan and allocate tasks to staff to meet required service standards
6. Ensure customer requests are met within SLA
7. Receive and respond to telephone enquiries from staff and customers in a professional manner
8. Liaise with all airline staff and handling agents
9. Provide detailed reports on delays, failed SLAs, accidents and incidents
10. Brief staff on relevant operational matters
11. Escalate possible service failures, ideally before they happen
12. Identify operational challenges and produce a plan to respond
13. Ensure a fair and consistent approach to staff when allocating work
14. Ensure staff are working appropriately and in a timely manner
15. Promote and identify efficient ways of allocating
16. Forward plan continuously for the next 36 hours

Required Experience and Skills:
1. Previous experience of primarily working in a similar role is desirable
2. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills
3. Must have the right to work in the UK
4. Must pass a DBS check
5. Must be able to provide 5 years reference information
