Description
Oversee the financial management of assigned projects, ensuring budgets are adhered to.
Prepare accurate financial reports for stakeholders and funding bodies.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
Collaborate with project managers to forecast and track project costs.
Provide financial insights to support decision-making and project planning.
Review and reconcile project accounts on a regular basis.
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules related to projects.
Support the wider Accounting & Finance department with ad-hoc tasks as required.Profile
A successful Project Accountant should have:
Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance.
Experience managing project finances within the not-for-profit sector or similar industries.
Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.Job Offer
