Overview
JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a CNC Turner to join our client based in Runcorn WA7.
You will be to working as part of a team operating a range of precision and general engineering machinery.
This position is permanent
Working Hours: 39 hours per week
Early Shift (Monday to Friday 6am - 2.30pm)
Late Shift (Mon-Thurs 2pm - 11pm) and (Fri 2pm - 6pm)
Location: Runcorn WA7
Job Role: CNC Turner
Salary: upto £40,000 per annum - Dependent upon experience
The Role:
* To read and interpret engineering drawings
* Setting up and configuring of CNC turning centre
* Loading raw materials (bars / billets) and installing of tools for turning
* Read, interpret, edit or write CNC programs, specifically using Fanuc
* Identifying and resolving production issues such as dimension inaccuracies
* Undertake inspection of finished components using general inspection equipment such as micrometers
About You / Skills / Experience
* Formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering, Machining or similar (HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
* Self-motivated and have the ability to work with initiative.
* To have the ability to work within a team of engineers.
* Having a high level of experience working within a production manufacturing business /environment.
* High level of knowledge and understanding of measuring equipment.
* Attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret drawings. - Works well both unsupervised and as part of a team.
