About the Role
As the Estates Supervisor, you will take full accountability for the daily operations and management of the Grounds, Maintenance, and Hot Tubs teams across the park. Your goal is to deliver excellent service standards for both our guests and holiday home owners, while supporting the Estates Manager and wider leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, train, and develop the Grounds, Maintenance, and Hot Tub teams, including inductions, training plans, probations, and reviews.
· Prepare weekly rotas and allocate tasks to ensure all job deadlines are achieved.
· Manage the online job book, ensuring jobs are logged, delegated, prioritised, and completed on time.
· Work with the Estates Administrator to order parts and equipment within budget and deadlines.
· Collaborate with the Head of Operations and Estates Manager to align departmental priorities with wider business strategy.
· Work closely with Reception, Housekeeping, and Reservations to ensure accommodation is ready and maintained to a high standard.
· Support the Holiday Home Sales team with moving, siting, snagging, and post-handover tasks.
· Oversee general grounds maintenance, including bins, gardens, hedges, and pathways.
· Maintain grass cutting, strimming, and landscaping schedules.
· Supervise touring arrivals and departures, assisting guests to pitches.
· Oversee hot tub testing, cleaning, and compliance checks.
· Manage ordering and distribution of gas.
· Deputise for the Estates Manager when required.
· Ensure maintenance stores are safe, tidy, and organised.
· Assist with recruitment, selection, and onboarding of team members.
· Carry out maintenance and groundwork as needed.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and champion safety best practices at all times.
· Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork.
· Undertake other duties as required to ensure smooth running of the department and company.
Education, Training, and Experience
· Previous experience in maintenance (essential), grounds and hot tubs (desirable).
· Good knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and general DIY (essential).
· Experience supervising, leading, and developing a team (essential).
· Experience using machinery and power tools safely (essential).
· Good IT skills.
· Experience in a customer-focused environment.
Disposition and Requirements
· Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
· Confident team leader with excellent communication skills.
· Organised and detail-focused with strong problem-solving ability.
· Confidential, trustworthy, and safety-conscious.
· UK driving licence required.
Hours of Work
· 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours depending on business needs.
· Evening shifts (up to 7pm during peak weeks), weekend, and Bank Holiday working essential.
