Our client, a fast-growing and highly innovative smart home & building automation business, is looking for a Head of Partner Coach (Head of Technical Account Management) to lead and develop their UK partner enablement function.
With revenues of £200M and a £1B growth target, this is a high-impact leader role within a company that is scaling rapidly and disrupting its market.
This is a full-time, office-based role in Reading.
What you’ll be doing
* Lead and develop a team of 4 Partner Coaches (Technical Account Managers) aligned to key verticals
* Own the strategy and performance of the partner success / enablement function
* Act as a player-coach, managing key partner relationships and leading by example
* Drive partner success across:
* Technical guidance & solution support
* Project delivery oversight
* Commercial enablement & growth
* Relationship management
* Ensure partners are fully onboarded, trained, and continuously developed
* Support complex projects, escalations, and high-value opportunities
* Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities across the partner network
* Build scalable processes, frameworks, and best practices as the function grows
* Collaborate closely with Sales, Training, and Technical teams
What skills you’ll bring
* Proven leadership experience in Technical Account Management, Customer Success or Partner / Channel Management
* Strong background in electrical, automation, or technical systems
* Ability to balance technical understanding with commercial awareness
* Experience working with or supporting partners, installers, or integrators
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to bring structure in a fast-growth, evolving environment
* Comfortable operating with autonomy and ambiguity
