Customer Service Coordinator (6 Month FTC - Immediate Start) £30000 | | East Oxfordshire Robert Half Ltd is partnering with an established organisation to recruit a Customer Service Coordinator for a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly organised professional to join a fast-paced, collaborative team. The successful candidate must be immediately available to start. This role offers hybrid working (2 days in office). The Role Working within the Customer Services department, the Customer Service Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of customer service are maintained at all times. The position requires the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously while adapting quickly to changing demands - strong agility and flexibility are key. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the post-holder will be responsible for processing orders, managing stock availability, liaising with both internal teams and external partners, and handling customer queries through to resolution. Key Responsibilities Accurately process customer orders in line with delivery schedules and warehouse deadlines. Proactively communicate stock issues, delays and delivery updates to customers and internal account teams. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer product lists and account details. Collaborate closely with Accounts Receivable, Demand & Planning, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial teams. Investigate and resolve warehouse and transport issues promptly. Process returns, credits, and consignment stock orders using SAP. Analyse and report on customer KPIs and service levels. Build strong relationships with customer supply chain contacts and internal stakeholders. Key Requirements Proven experience in customer service, ideally within a business-to-business environment. FMCG and order management experience is highly desirable. Strong background in ERP systems - SAP experience is desired. Tech-savvy with excellent IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel). Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise and work calmly under pressure. High level of accuracy, attention to detail and customer empathy. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple workflows and operate confidently in a technology-driven environment.
