AC Engineer – Network Rail (Central London)
Location: Central London Stations
Hours: 40 hours per week | Flexitime
Salary: £45,000 basic + overtime + standby
Contract: Permanent | Long-term contract
We are recruiting an AC Engineer to join a well-established team delivering HVAC services across a major Network Rail contract in Central London.
This contract has been successfully delivered for over 10 years, with established processes and a team that knows the sites inside out. The AC Engineer role covers Euston, St Pancras, King’s Cross, London Bridge and Victoria.
Role overview
As an AC Engineer, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repairs across a range of HVAC and AC plant.
Key responsibilities include:

Maintenance and repair of AHUs
*
Working on VRV / VRF systems
*
Servicing cassettes and FCUs
*
Pumps and associated HVAC plant
*
Fault finding and diagnostics
*
Supporting reactive call-outs and planned works
You’ll work a 40-hour week with flexible start times (from as early as 5am if preferred).
The role includes a 1 in 8 on-call rota with £125 standby, plus overtime.
Candidate requirements

Proven experience working as an AC Engineer

F-Gas 2079 qualification (minimum)
*
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*
Experience in commercial or critical environments
*
Full UK driving licence
*
