Overview
Job Summary: As a Strategy Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in delivering dedicated support to victims of sexual assault. We are seeking passionate and caring individuals to join us. This is an opportunity to be a difference maker.
Key Responsibilities
* Be part of all strategy meetings with both the police and social care and advise with strict criteria the best route for the child or young person.
* Ensure that children who require a child protection medical are not brought to the SARC and are directed to the most appropriate Paediatrician.
* Make sure that all elements of the child\'s attendance, whether acute or non-recent, are discussed as part of a multi-agency arena.
* When acting as Crisis Worker, provide cover for both the Paediatric and adult Forensic Services at SARCs.
* Maintain accurate record keeping/documentation and confidential client notes per protocols.
* Liaise with other voluntary and statutory agencies to meet health and psychological needs of patients.
* Ensure secure storage of all SARC files and forensic samples for potential use in criminal investigations.

Location: The Elms SARC, Huntingdon, PE29 6NT
Hours: 16 hours per week
Shift Patterns: 9am - 5pm
Salary: £29,699 pro rata based on 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Children and Adults
* Knowledge and understanding of Confidentiality
* IT Literate
* Basic administration skills
* Experience of working with vulnerable adults and children
* Experience of working with individuals who may have complex needs
* Experience of working with individuals who have experienced sexual assault/ violence
* Project development and outreach
* Training and presentation skills
