You will be working for a property maintenance, refurbishment, compliance, and decarbonisation specialist.
Your new role
As an Electrician, you will be carrying out fault-finding and responsive repairs on tenanted Social Housing properties. You will be site-based, covering Dorset and Wiltshire. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 39 hours, plus out-of-hours on-call. On-call duty is approximately 1 in every 3 to 4 weeks, with £100 standby pay and £50 per completed job.
* Works include, but are not limited to, repairing MCBs (circuit breakers), small electrical repairs, switches, re-certification, and certifying all works.
* Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily.
* Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively.
* Always delivering an outstanding service to customers, understanding that you are working in their homes.
* Following Health and Safety policies and standards.
* This role requires a DBS check.
* A full UK driving license is required.
What you'll need to succeed
* You will be an experienced Electrician with a City & Guilds 2391 qualification.
* You will also need to have the 18th Edition, with a desirable understanding of Amendment 2.
* NICEIC registration is preferable.
* You need to be a confident driver with a Full UK driving license, as travel is involved.
* It is equally important to have the responsibility, initiative, and problem-solving skills to identify solutions and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner, delivering customer satisfaction.
* This role requires a DBS check.
What you'll get in return
£25 per hour umbrella, plus a van and fuel card.
