We’re partnering with a global manufacturer of instantly recognisable consumer brands – household names you’ll see in homes and on shelves across the UK and worldwide. With continued growth across their retail and e-commerce channels, they are now looking to appoint a Demand Planner to join their high performing Supply Chain function.
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the centre of supply chain operations, working with high-volume, fast-moving products where accuracy and agility make the difference. You’ll be involved in everything from forecasting seasonal trends to smoothing out fluctuating retail orders, ensuring products are always available when customers need them.
The Role
As a Demand Planner, you will:
* Own a defined portfolio of products – ensuring accurate short, mid, and long term forecasting, stock replenishment, and supply planning
* Monitor and deliver on key KPIs – achieving agreed SFD, stock levels and CSL, and tracking ICSL and SSL performance
* Manage the full forecast cycle – continuously reviewing sales and production forecasts across multiple markets, balancing service levels with optimal inventory
* Oversee supply flow – placing orders with production sites, suppliers, and co-packers, following up on deliveries to meet demand on time and in full
* Problem solve supply challenges – identifying potential issues, collaborating across departments, and implementing solutions quickly
* Keep master data sharp – maintaining and improving SAP/IPB forecasting models, stock strategies and replenishment settings
Additional Responsibilities
* Coordinating co – packing activities, ensuring cost efficiency, availability, and smooth production scheduling
* Supporting import activities and liaising with customs and logistics providers
* Ensuring sales forecasts (inc. promotions, launches and delists) are timely and accurate
* Preparing insight and data for bi – monthly demand review and consensus meetings
* Managing product lifecycle changes – phase ins, phase outs, and SLOBs
* Driving process improvement initiatives across the supply chain for greater efficiency
The Package
* Salary: £35,000 – £36,000
* Bonus: Up to 15% annually (highly achievable)
* Hybrid working: 2 days WFH / 3 in the office
