Job Description

Requirements
You will be educated to SCQF Level 9 or above (e.g., Scottish Bachelor’s degree, Graduate Diploma, Graduate Certificate, Professional Development Award Level 9, SVQ Level 9) or have equivalent relevant experience.
Responsibilities
You will make a significant contribution to the delivery of the overall Economic Development service area, leading or supporting key areas of the Economic Growth team’s work. This specific post will focus on supporting employability programme management, including performance monitoring, eligibility and compliance checks, preparing performance reports, and managing financial claims to funders.
The Individual
You should have knowledge and understanding of research and analysis, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively. Knowledge of key official national and local data sets, and understanding of economic development, are essential. You will need excellent ICT skills, including management information systems, databases, and spreadsheets, and the ability to monitor programme performance using statistical data and KPIs. A willingness to learn new skills and undertake training is important. You should possess excellent time management, communication, research, analytical, and numeracy skills, and be a team player capable of working independently.
