Overview
As a Teaching Fellow on the Digital and Technology Solutions degree apprenticeship programme at Queen Mary University of London, you will contribute to the intellectual life of the faculty and wider institution and make contributions to student education and experience through curriculum development and the delivery of teaching activities in subject areas such as data analysis, programming, and AI.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to curriculum development and deliver teaching activities in data analysis, programming, and AI.
* Support student education and experience through effective teaching practices in undergraduate or postgraduate settings.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience in teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate level in large or small group settings.
* Relevant professional qualification(s), PhD, or equivalent professional experience.
* Strong IT skills at the level required to undertake teaching and management duties.

About the School and Institution
This role sits within the Faculty of Science and Engineering, which is home to five academic Schools, where role holders will be hosted within the faculty associated with the degree apprenticeship operations at London City Institute of Technology. The Faculty of Science and Engineering is welcoming and supportive, with established excellent education practices and excellent mentoring for new lecturing staff joining the faculty. Role Details
The post is based across the Mile End Campus in London and the London City Institute of Technology. It is a full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term appointment for 1 year, with an expected start date of November 2025, but we are open to considering flexible or part-time arrangements. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £44,288 - £51,755 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance. Closing Date
