Are you a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant?
We are actively seeking to appoint a passionate and organised HLTA to join one of our partnership Primary Schools based in Pontefract (WF9) on a part-time basis.
You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons during the teacher's short-term absence, ensuring continuity in learning and effective support for pupils. A strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and confidence in reducing disruptive behaviour to promote positive progression and participation are essential.
The vibrant Primary School offers a kind, respectful, and happy learning community, where respectful relationships are forged, and pupils are encouraged to build self-esteem, resilience, and independence across the curriculum.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role; salary is negotiable depending on experience.
We are seeking candidates with:
1. A full and relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
2. Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
3. Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
4. An enhanced DBS disclosure or willingness to obtain one through us.
5. Right to Work in the UK; unfortunately, we cannot offer Visa Sponsorship.
