Onshore and Offshore Electronics Technician

We are seeking an Electronics Technician to join our Aberdeen team. This is initially a workshop-based role offering full training and strong development opportunities, with a clear progression path to working independently in an offshore technician role within approximately 12 months. You’ll support customers by maintaining and repairing Nautronix subsea acoustic products and CCTV, subsea and thermal imaging cameras, developing the skills and confidence to take full ownership of tasks and customer support activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Repair and maintain customer equipment
* Diagnose faults and provide reports and quotations
* Perform quality control checks
* Inspect, test, and prepare rental equipment
* Follow company HSEQ policies and industry standards
* Travel offshore on an ad hoc basis
Essential Skills & Experience
* Qualification in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
* Experience in electronic fault finding and problem solving
* Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
* High standard of electronic workmanship
* Team player with strong communication and reporting skills
* Competent in Microsoft Office
Desirable Skills
* Component-level circuit debugging (resistors, capacitors, ICs)
* PCB assembly and repair experience
* Soldering to IPC J-STD-001 standard
