We are seeking an experienced Patching & Compliance Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in BMC TrueSight Server Automation (TSSA) to manage enterprise‑wide OS patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance enforcement across large‑scale Windows and Linux environments. The role involves automation, reporting, troubleshooting, and coordination with security and infrastructure teams to ensure systems meet regulatory and organizational compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, schedule, test, and deploy OS patches for Windows, Linux (RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu, AIX, Solaris) using BMC TrueSight Server Automation (TSSA).
* Manage monthly/weekly patch cycles including pre‑checks, post‑validation, rollback, and reporting.
* Coordinate with application, database, and business teams for change management approvals.
* Implement and maintain security compliance policies (CIS, STIG, DISA, ISO, SOX, PCI‑DSS).
* Perform compliance scans, audits, drift remediation, and reporting using BMC TrueSight.
* Address, track, and remediate non‑compliance issues.
* Develop and maintain BLCLI commands, NSH scripts, and jobs for automation.
* Create patching and compliance workflows.
* Enhance automation to reduce manual effort and increase success rates.
* Generate patching and compliance dashboards & reports for management and audit teams.
* Analyze patch failures, root‑cause issues, and implement permanent fixes.
* Maintain patch baseline documentation and SOPs.
