Our client is a well-established organisation within the manufacturing industry. They are seeking an experienced individual to act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing professional support and ensuring a first-class customer experience throughout the order process.
Based in Chichester, paying up to £28,000 plus an excellent range of company benefits, this is an opportunity not to be missed!
What you’ll do:
Act as an important first point of contact for customers, handling incoming calls in a prompt and professional manner
Provide informed product support and recommend appropriate solutions based on individual customer requirements
Confirm and communicate delivery lead times clearly, ensuring customer expectations are managed effectively throughout the order process
Liaise with relevant internal and external parties to ensure customer queries are fully resolved
Ensure customer enquiries are escalated smoothly where required, maintaining clear communication and keeping customers informed at all stages
The ideal candidate:
Previous experience within a customer service role
Excellent communication skills with a professional and friendly manner
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Confident handling customer queries and resolving issues proactively
A strong attention to detail and ability to provide accurate information
Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and external customers
IT literate and confident using Microsoft Office packages
