Key Accountabilities
Working as a contractor supervisor on a client's wind farm, daily tasks include:
* Liaising with the client regarding ongoing works
* Preventative planning
* Reporting to the Project Manager
* Organising the workload of the on‑site team to meet schedules
* Contractual requirements – which typically include completion of 6‑ and 12‑month maintenance checks, bearing lubrication, functional test and cleaning.
In addition, returning turbines to service after fault conditions will involve:
* Mechanical and electrical fault finding
* Fault resolution
* Component replacement
* Functional testing – whilst ensuring compliance with HSQE as set, pursuant to the provisions of the client contract and in accordance with RES's policies and procedures
* Controlling calibration of tooling/lifting equipment and inventories
* Reporting the necessary information to support the efficient operations of the HSQE management systems.
