A well-established manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of an 2x electrically biased Maintenance Engineers.This is a permanent night shift position ( 8 hours- you'll get Friday to Sunday night off every week ) offering a stable working pattern, competitive salary and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment supporting a wide range of automated manufacturing equipment.The RoleAs part of the engineering team, youll be responsible for:Electrical fault finding and breakdown responsePlanned preventative maintenance (PPM)Supporting continuous improvement initiativesDiagnosing faults on production and packaging machineryWorking with PLC-controlled equipmentMaintaining drives, motors, contactors, relays and control systemsSupporting mechanical repairs where requiredMinimising downtime and improving equipment reliabilityWhat Were Looking ForNVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical EngineeringElectrically biased maintenance backgroundExperience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or production environmentsStrong fault-finding abilityExperience with: PLC fault findingInverters and drivesMotors and motor control systemsContactors and relaysSensors and control circuitsAbility to work independently and as part of a wider engineering teamWhats On Offer£53,000 - £55,000 salaryPermanent night shift patternSunday to Thursday10pm - 6am | meaning you get Friday day through to Sunday evening off every week!Stable and growing manufacturing environmentLong-term career opportunityFor a confidential discussion, contact Adam Hickman at Apex Appoint.TPBN1_UKTJ
