This role will initially be office based with hybrid working available post-probation.
The Opportunity
You will join a respected practice with strong roots in the region, handling a broad range of commercial property work. The successful candidate will initially manage their own matters, with a clear pathway to leading the Commercial Property Department. This makes the role particularly attractive for a self-starter with the drive to combine fee-earning, team-building, and business development responsibilities.
Work Includes
* Handling acquisitions and disposals of freehold property
* Drafting and negotiating commercial leases for both landlords and tenants
* Advising on lease extensions, renewals, and surrenders
* Managing the sale and purchase of businesses with property elements
* Advising on easements and related rights
* Supporting clients with property investment transactions
* Preparing and advising on option and overage agreements
* Negotiating conditional contracts linked to planning permissions
* Overseeing multi-property and portfolio transactions
About You
* Qualified Solicitor with approx. 3–6 years’ PQE in commercial property
* Confident managing a varied caseload independently
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop client relationships and grow the team
* Strong technical knowledge, client care skills, and commercial awareness
