As a Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager you will lead the development of an organisation‑wide strategy for delivering exceptional quality to our customers. This is a pivotal role where you’ll set the direction for quality across the business, make key decisions on how to deliver our quality strategy, and ensure our approach is innovative, effective and pragmatic. You will work closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers, acting as a subject matter expert, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring that quality considerations are at the heart of organisational change.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading the development and delivery of the company-wide quality strategy.
* Defining, agreeing and monitoring Quality objectives, KPIs, risks and opportunities.
* Managing internal and external audit schedules, including corrective actions and follow-up.
* Ensuring systems, procedures and documentation comply with relevant Quality Standards.
* Using data from audits and quality metrics to recommend improvements and identify risks.
* Acting as a subject matter expert on improvement projects, supporting change initiatives.
* Working with internal and external stakeholders to embed quality into processes, services and products.
* Continuously improving quality systems, practices and communication pathways.
* Supporting colleagues with root cause analysis and quality improvement workshops.
* Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and prevention throughout the business.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience managing quality in a regulated, laboratory‑based environment.
* Strong understanding of audits, quality measurement, data analysis and ISO standards (ISO17025 is essential - ISO9001, ISO17043 & ISO14001 would also be an advantage).
* Know how to develop, maintain, and embed Quality information processes, systems and MI that communicate key quality related information to management.
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and support colleagues through change.
* Skilled in identifying root causes, driving continuous improvement and embedding quality into processes.
* Relevant auditor qualification relating to an ISO quality standard. Lean Six Sigma, Change Management or coaching credentials would also be an advantage.
