Position: Front Desk Administrator (Contingent Upon Award) Work Location: RAF Lakenheath, UK Work Schedule: Monday through Friday onsite (Regular Full-time) Work authorization: United Kingdom (Required) Position Summary The Front Desk Administrator provides professional, customer-focused administrative and reception support for a U.S. Government Military and Family Readiness Center. This position serves as the front desk operations, customer intake, appointment scheduling, and accurate documentation in government systems. You must be able to work onsite at RAF Lakenheath, UK. Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following: Serve as the primary point of contact for walk-in, telephone, email, and online inquiries during business hours. Greet and assist customers promptly, conduct initial intake, and support completion of required forms and documentation. Provide accurate information, referrals, and directory assistance for on- and off-installation resources. Maintain a welcoming, organized, and fully stocked reception and resource area. Schedule customer appointments, workshops, and classes using government-approved systems. Manage calendars for counselors, specialists, and shared spaces to prevent conflicts and ensure efficient utilization. Coordinate appointment reminders and pre-event communications within required timeframe. Maintain internal trackers, sign-in logs, and administrative records with high accuracy standards. Monitor shared inboxes and escalate complex issues to appropriate staff. Support outreach events and community activities as directed. Position Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience required. Basic understanding of military structure, terminology, and support resources. Business casual attire is required while performing duties in person. Available to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Impeccable customer service skills. Read, speak, and understand the English language fluently. Expert experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools and systems to include Excel, Project, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint. Must be eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC). Completion of initial and ongoing security training is required. Must meet client suitability.
