Job description:
The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Little Creators Preschool as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice, looking ot start in April 2024.
Our setting is unique, you will see the same staff every day, who get to know the children and families well. The smaller environment allows us to give the children fantastic opportunities.
We are small, personable, we get to know the children and their families well and the team are highly qualified and experienced. There are no transitions between rooms, we have an open door policy and the number of children we take remains low – making it easier for children to settle
We are easy to access, we have a carpark with our own entrance that is only used by the preschool. We have a secure garden, but we also have access to two HUGE grass areas.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;
1. Being a key person – you will have a small number of children allocated to them – this is a small setting where they cater for the individual needs of the child
2. To help with the children’s online learning journals, candidates must have good communication skills as they will be liaising with parents and updating them on the children’s progress
3. They will be supervising activities including mealtimes, nappy changing and toileting
4. They will plan activities in line with the EYFS, and have a basic understanding of safeguarding
Requirements;
5. Level 2 Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role
6. You must be able to gain a clear DBS
7. Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
8. Experience within the role previously
Hours;
9. Little Creators Preschool is open from 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday and is a term time only setting
10. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week with shift patterns to be discussed
