Manage a large team effectively, as the operation is very busy with large-scale events. A highly organized and mentoring chef is imperative for this role.
* Enforce the highest possible standards of work within the kitchen
* Manage the roster ensuring proper coverage to meet business demands
* Train, develop, and recruit the team
* Manage kitchen maintenance and plan layouts to high standards
* Ensure responsible management of food costs
* Collaborate with the gardening team to implement the food plan
* Work with the social media team to tell our food story
* Participate in events that recruit, promote, and engage with our community
* Proactively manage the team, developing progression plans for full-time staff
* Control, cost, and ensure production is fit for purpose
* Monitor, adapt, and manage HACCP plans for the entire kitchen
* Refine kitchen structure to maximize efficiency and plan manpower requirements
* Build links with chef training colleges to attract talent across Europe and beyond
* Organize daily kitchen operations through meetings and induction of new team members
