HGV Class 2 Driver in Dagenham needed.
Apply today to work as an HGV Class 2 Multidrop Driver for our client's major bakery and distribution centre, producing and delivering a wide range of bread and bakery products to retailers and customers across the region.
The rate of pay is £ per hour.
Full or part-time positions available
4 on 4 off or 2 on 2 off
Start time: 2:00am
Your Time at Work
As a HGV Class 2 Driver your duties include:
- Drive and deliver bakery products safely to scheduled locations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring secure transport.
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain communication with the transport office.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have the following skills:
- Ability to lift and move bakery products and trays (up to 25kg).
- Comfortable with manual handling during loading/unloading.
- Capable of working early morning shifts (starting at 2:00 AM).
Skills & Key Attributes:
- Safe Driving Skills - Ability to operate HGV Class 2 vehicles responsibly, following road safety and company regulations.
- Time Management - Punctual and able to meet strict delivery schedules, especially with early morning starts.
- Attention to Detail - Accurate completion of delivery paperwork and adherence to route plans.
- Physical Stamina - Capable of manual handling and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills - Clear interaction with the transport office and customers to resolve queries or report issues.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
