The role:

We are seeking caring, enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurses to join our Treatment Room Nursing teams across West Dunbartonshire.

Our Treatment Room Service delivers skilled nursing interventions across a broad spectrum of clinical practice, providing person‑centred care that places individuals — and those important to them — at the heart of everything we do.


Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:

* Permanent Contract
* Full‑time (36 hours per week)
* Base location - Clydebank Health Centre
* Shift Pattern - 36 hours over 5 days


Key responsibilities:

* The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. These will be developed in partnership with Patients, Family, Carers and Significant others, and will be evidence‑based taking into consideration the lifestyle, race, gender and cultural background, and factors which impact on physical, mental or emotional health.
* The post holder will perform a wide range of nursing interventions and investigations for patients attending the treatment rooms, and will support patients, relatives and carers in order to achieve and maintain optimum health. The post holder will adhere to local, regional and national policies, procedures and guidelines pertinent to their area in the pursuit of the highest standard of patient care.
* The post holder will develop leadership skills, acting as a role model by representing the values and beliefs of the nursing profession as well as that of the organisation.
* Participate in systems of clinical support and personal development plans for the nursing team, induct all new staff into the team and supervise junior staff.
* The post holder is responsible for ensuring that they practice within the Legal & Ethical framework as established by Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and National Legislation to ensure the patient’s interests and wellbeing are met.


Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:

* Part 1 NMC Registration (Adult Nursing)
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* IT skills – word processing, email, internet
* Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Leadership skills
* Problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Full Driving Licence
