Overview
Hours of duty will be 14:00-22:00, Monday to Friday, including bank holidays (37.5 hours per week).
The Domestic Services Team based at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is looking for Domestic Assistants to join the relief pool and work in all wards and departments across the Trust site, including Covid‑19 areas and other infection areas.
Responsibilities
* Maintain a clean, hygienic and safe environment for patients and clinical staff across all wards and departments.
* Assist nurses and other stakeholders, such as bed managers, with discharge and infection cleans as per local RAG poster and National Standards of Cleanliness.
* Provide a rapid response service to a high standard of cleanliness under the supervision of the domestic supervisor.
* Use mechanical and electrical equipment safely following appropriate training.
Qualifications
* Reliable and flexible individual with experience in cleaning.
* Willingness to develop while working with a team that embraces the revised National Cleaning Standards.
* Ability to respond quickly and meet high standards of cleanliness.
