Job Description: Bank Physiotherapist - Orthopaedic Inpatients
Location: Fitzwilliam Hospital, Peterborough
Hours: Bank hours
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our bank support team at Fitzwilliam Hospital. The role involves providing high standards of physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and evaluation to patients within our elective orthopaedic pathway. Experience in orthopaedic day-case physiotherapy is beneficial but not essential. The position includes extended hours to assess patients on day 0 post-surgery, facilitating early discharge for primary joint patients.

Located in the landscaped grounds of the Milton Estate in Peterborough, Fitzwilliam Hospital has been delivering high-quality healthcare since 1983. The hospital features 54 single bedrooms and one twin-bedded room, all with en suite facilities, serving both private and NHS patients.
Candidate Requirements
* Relevant degree in Physiotherapy with inpatient and orthopaedic experience
* Current HCPC registration
* Ability to manage a full clinical caseload of inpatient post-op patients
* Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Ability to run relevant post-op and other classes as required
