Veritas Education are currently recruiting dedicated and adaptable Primary Teaching Assistants for schools across Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to develop valuable classroom experience, supporting students' learning, building their confidence, and making a meaningful impact on their educational journey. Roles are full-time, term-time only, and available to start as soon as possible.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with their learning and help them reach their potential
Encourage positive engagement in lessons
Help maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment
Assist the class teacher with behaviour management and general classroom support
Provide support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with children or young people (school experience preferred)
Hold a relevant degree or qualification, e.g. education, childhood studies, psychology (desirable)
Be patient, adaptable, and able to work well as part of a team
