An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Commercial Property Solicitor (or Legal Executive) to join a highly regarded and supportive team based in Leeds City Centre. This role is ideally suited to a solicitor or CILEX-qualified lawyer with NQ-1 year PQE, who is looking to develop their career in a friendly, professional, and well-established commercial property department.
The Role
You'll be handling a broad and varied caseload of commercial property matters, including:
Freehold and leasehold transactions
Refinancing
Deeds of variation
Matters from instruction through to completion
As part of a close-knit team, you'll receive ongoing support and supervision, with increasing responsibility as your confidence and expertise grow.
What We're Looking For
At least 6 months' experience within a commercial property team (including during training contract)
Solid understanding of commercial and residential conveyancing processes
A proactive, accurate and efficient working style
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Commitment to high standards of client care
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
IT literate, ideally with experience using case management systems
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEX)
NQ to 1 year PQE
Current practising certificate or equivalent
