The DORA Programme Lead is a critical second-line function responsible for leading the strategic development, implementation, and management of the organisation's programme to comply with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). This role involves providing subject matter expertise on DORA, managing the DORA implementation project, and owning the reporting to senior management and relevant forums. The role requires an understanding of the DORA requirements, excellent project management skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
Please note this position is an Fixed Term Contract for 18 months.
Essential skills and experience:
* Extensive experience in regulatory compliance, project management, or a related field, with a proven track record in leading complex projects.
* Understanding of DORA requirements and experience leading similar implementation projects.
* Strong knowledge of UK, EU, and international regulations related to operational resilience, cybersecurity, and risk management.
* Excellent project management skills, including experience developing and managing project plans, tracking progress, and managing risks and issues within JIRA.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
* Proven ability to collaborate with senior management to define and execute strategic initiatives.
Desirable but not essential:
* Experience working in the financial services industry.
* Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or a related certification.
* Experience with risk management frameworks and methodologies.
* Experience with IT governance and control frameworks.

This position is based in Dunton and it is expected the successful candidate will be able to attend the Dunton office for typically 2 to 3 days a week and remain flexible on the days they are required to attend the office according to business requirements.
