Rhondda Cynon Taf Access and Inclusion Service is seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified teacher with prior experience of working in a learning support class, who will be supporting and teaching pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties based at Cefn PS to start September 2026. This is a temporary to cover a maternity leave.
The class will support up to eight pupils with ages from 7 – 11 years.
This provision supports learners with a range of additional learning needs. The class will be staffed by a teacher and 2 Learning Support Assistants who support learning activities and mainstream inclusion. Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience of working with pupils with additional learning needs, including social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and will have undertaken relevant specialist professional training in line with LA requirements.
