Join Shropshire Mental Health Support (SMHS) as our new Community Fundraising, PR & Events Officer, and play a vital role in raising funds and promoting awareness to support mental health services across the county.
In this dynamic and rewarding role, you will lead on community fundraising, develop corporate partnerships, and promote engaging campaigns and events. Your efforts will directly support SMHS's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and evaluate fundraising events and campaigns.
* Meet annual fundraising target.
* Build long-term relationships with local businesses and groups.
* Lead on corporate partnerships including 'Charity of the Year' support.
* Develop promotional materials and compelling fundraising communications.
* Use social media and digital tools to raise awareness and engagement.
* Represent SMHS at events, community forums, and networking opportunities.
* Ensure accurate tracking of income and supporter engagement.
You Will Need to:
* Have experience in a fundraising role within the voluntary/third sector.
* Hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle (essential).
* Be prepared to work unsociable hours.
* Be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
