This role will be offered as a three‑month secondment, designed to be accessible and supportive for colleagues stepping into their next career challenge. For the first two months, the post will be part‑time at 18.5 hours per week, with flexibility to work around the individual's substantive role, ensuring minimal disruption for teams and managers. The final month will be full time (37 hours) to support delivery during the peak graduation period. This is a fantastic development opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in events management, offering hands‑on leadership experience in one of the University's flagship activities. Line manager approval will be needed so we encourage applicants to disclose interest to their line manager pre‑application. We strongly encourage line managers to support colleagues who express interest – this secondment is an excellent chance for staff to grow, gain high‑profile experience, and bring enhanced skills back to their home teams.
* Experience of successfully leading large‑scale events and/or complex projects
* The ability to work confidently with senior leaders and executive stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills – a student‑focused approach
