St Clare Hospice is a charity that provides specialist palliative care to patients and families in West Essex and the East Hertfordshire borders.
Our Loughton shop is an established St Clare Hospice high street shop, serving the local community and welcoming customers and donors. As our 13th high street shop, it is ideally located close to a car park, with convenient drop-off access for donations and customer parking.
We are now recruiting an Assistant Manager to support the leadership and day-to-day management of the shop team, helping to maximise donations and achieve weekly targets that raise vital income for the hospice. The shop is open seven days a week and offers clothing and furniture alongside our popular range of bric-a-brac.
We are looking for a creative and motivated retailer who enjoys working with staff and volunteers to deliver excellent customer service to supporters, donors and customers. You will ensure high standards are maintained at all times, including compliance with health and safety requirements and the accurate processing of Retail Gift Aid to maximise income at every opportunity.
Please read the job description for further details.
In return for your commitment, we offer a competitive salary, benefits, generous leave, pension options (including NHS continuity), life assurance, and an Employee Assistance Programme. We also provide strong development support and learning opportunities.
