Pastoral Support Worker – Gloucester, Gloucestershire
Immediate Start • Full time • £89-£100 a day
Responsibilities
* Provide mental, emotional and social support to students
* Work closely with teachers, parents and guardians, and external agencies like CAMHS to ensure the best outcomes for young people
* Nurture students in overcoming barriers to learning, including attendance, social connections and behaviour challenges
* Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions focused on resilience, confidence and positive behaviour
* Ensure the safety and welfare of students, working on safeguarding practices
About you / Qualifications
* Experience working with children or young people in a pastoral, counselling, or previous support role
* Strong communication
* A calm, empathetic approach to nurturing children
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
