JOB TITLE: Cleaning/Porterage Cover Operative
LOCATION: JPMorgan, Chaseside, Bournemouth
REPORTING TO: Operations Manager
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday – Shifts between 7 am to 5 pm – 30 hours per week
PAY RATE: £ per hour
Overview of the Job Description & Responsibilities:
Main Duties:
•Cleaning/Housekeeping duties to include but not limited to; Washrooms, dusting, waste removal, Kitchenette cleaning, common areas including reception, restaurant seating area,
•Covering Porters duties when Porters on holiday – this will include setting up meeting rooms for pre-booked event this would involve - Delivery & physical setting-up/reset of all furniture, equipment in variety event styles.
•Covering other porterage task and support to client as required.
•To undertake any other related duties which are within the job holders’ capabilities, according to the needs of the business as directed by the supervisor/manager.
•Uniform & training provided.
Person Specification:
1. Must be reliable, trustworthy and have an eye for detail.
2. Physically fit due to manually handling tasks which including moving furniture during meeting room set ups.
3. A flexible and adaptable approach to workload.
4. Good communication skills both verbal / written.
5. Be able to work part of a team as well as working alone.
6. A proactive/can do attitude to work.
7. Must have problem solve and organisational skills.
HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Always follow Group and company policies and procedures.
· Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
· Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
· Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
