Job Description
We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic ICT Supply Teacher to provide high-quality teaching across Key Stages [KS3/KS4/KS5 as applicable]. The successful candidate will be confident delivering engaging ICT and/or Computer Science lessons, maintaining positive classroom environments, and adapting quickly to different school settings.
Job Specification
We recruit for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Teachers for posts across the UK. Successful candidates will hold qualified teacher status (QTS) and be happy to teach through the key stages from 3-5. Candidates who have many years experience in this subject area or who are newly qualified teacher (NQT) are welcome to register.
As an ICT Teacher you’ll be expected to:
1. Hold QTS status
2. Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
3. Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
4. Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
5. Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
6. Maintain discipline
7. Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
8. Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
9. Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
10. Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
11. Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
