Job Title: Band 7 Sonographer
We are seeking a motivated Band 7 Sonographer to join our friendly team at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate must be available to work at either Hillingdon Hospital or Mount Vernon Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform ultrasound scans and produce independent reports in accordance with departmental guidelines.
2. Contribute to teaching and practical training of student Sonographers, specialist registrars, and trainees.
3. Participate in department management, audits, and clinical governance activities.
4. Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues regarding examinations and results.
5. Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the development of others by identifying training needs.
6. Plan and prioritize workload to ensure efficient service delivery, minimizing patient waiting times.
Additional Information:
Requests from newly-qualified Sonographers will be considered. Interviews will be face-to-face, including a practical assessment.
