Your role as a Security Manager ...
To create security procedures that prevent and deter crime away from our establishment.
Contribute to ensuring all staff adhere to security policies/procedures.
Coordinate investigations of all criminal activity or loss incurred by guests, patrons and staff to determine individual responsibility and proceed with any necessary prosecution/recovery of losses.
Ensure all inspections are completed in a timely manner and escalate any issues to management.
Establish and maintain effective means of communication with key stakeholders.
Create incident logs and report/ escalate issues to Rooms Division Director and General Manager.
Ensure absolute safety of patrons, staff and contractors at all times.
Watch and identify untrue patrons and eject from property as appropriate.
Supervision of all security personnel, giving clear direction on all security related aspects.
Identify areas to improve operations and implement a clear strategy to resolve.
Handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances and or conflicts.
Monitors surveillance and alarm equipment ensuring all systems are fully functional.
Conduct regular floor walks and escalate/ report on findings.
Ensure security staff are fully trained on all policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all security standards and preventative measures.
Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses.
Assist the hotel in complying with Fire Safety Regulations and internal policies.
Ensure hotel complies with Hiltons Security Manual and ensure there is a plan to ensure maximum implementation of all policies. 12 monthly review of all Security Policies required in conjunction with General Manager.
Conduct regular internal security audits to ensure compliance with Hiltons Security Manual

A bit about you...
Previous experience in Security within the hotel industry
Strong communication skills and the ability to easily multitask.
Ability to prioritise tasks and effectively manage resources.
Eye for detail
Relevant Health and Safety Knowledge
Computer Literacy Skills
