What you will need
1. British citizenship, with eligibility to obtain SC (Security Clearance)
2. Degree or HNC/HND in an engineering or science discipline, or equivalent proven experience in a similar role
3. Demonstrable experience applying Integrated Logistic Support across large scale complex programmes within UK defence or regulated engineering environments
4. Strong leadership capability with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels
5. Working knowledge of defence supportability principles, lifecycle engineering and relevant standards

What you will be doing
6. Leading Integrated Logistic Support activities across bids and delivery programmes within a complex engineering environment
7. Supporting early phase bidding activities including proposal development, cost estimation and supportability input
8. Developing and managing full ILS outputs including supportability analysis, ILS plans, AR&M, supply support, training analysis and through life documentation
9. Working closely with engineering and delivery teams to influence system design for improved in service support and reduced lifecycle cost
10. Structuring and maintaining ILS work packages, schedules and delivery plans aligned to programme milestones
11. Ensuring all support deliverables meet quality, cost and time expectations across defence programmes
Skills and experience
12. Technical capability: Strong background in Integrated Logistic Support within defence or similarly regulated engineering sectors, with understanding of MOD standards including Def Stan 00-600, Def Stan 00-60 and Def Stan 00-40 series
13. Technical capability: Familiarity with MIL standards and support engineering frameworks, alongside experience of supportability analysis methods
14. Technical capability: Experience with logistics and support data systems such as LIR environments and tools including OPUS 10 and PTC Windchill
15. Behavioural capability: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex engineering requirements into structured support solutions
16. Behavioural capability: Confident communicator with proven ability to influence stakeholders across engineering and programme teams
17. Behavioural capability: High attention to detail with a strong commitment to delivery quality and customer satisfaction

Where you will be based
This role is based in Dorset with a hybrid working arrangement. Some site attendance will be required depending on programme needs, particularly during key delivery phases and technical workshops.
