We have a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Enfield, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and support students in achieving their full potential.
✏️ About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality support in the classroom, helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Your role will be vital in supporting students’ academic progress, personal development, and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons and learning activities.
Support individual students or small groups, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
Help to create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
Provide additional support during assessments, group work, and enrichment activities.
Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Passionate about education and supporting young people.
Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic.
Able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
A team player with excellent communication skills.
Desirable:
Experience working with secondary-age students.
Knowledge of SEN support strategies.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
