An opportunity has arisen for a Project Lead/Senior Project Manager with experience in Major Projects within Highways and Transport to join a client in London on contract basis. You will be responsible for the delivery of major infrastructure schemes across the area as well as design management, feasibility reports, stakeholder management and works implementation. Other duties include cost reporting, tender procurement, community engagement, public liaison and consultant management.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £450 - £500 per day - negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. Flexible working and working from home arrangements are available.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing a range of high profile highways, transport and public realm projects
- Delivering a range of cycling, walking and traffic programmes to encourage active / sustainable travel across the area
- Overseeing the work carried out by the designated design consultant and the contractor
- Ensuring the schemes are delivered to a high standard and within budget
