Resident Liaison Officer – Construction Industry
The Role:
Are you a confident communicator who thrives on relationship building? We’re seeking a Resident Liaison Officer to support major residential and mixed‑use construction projects. You will be the primary point of contact for local residents, ensuring open, transparent communication and minimal disruption throughout the build lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the key liaison between project teams and residents
• Communicate project updates, timelines, and daily works
• Manage resident queries, concerns, and complaints with tact and professionalism
• Organise engagement events (meet‑the‑contractor sessions, coffee mornings etc.)
• Prepare and distribute newsletters, site notices, and information packs
• Maintain accurate records of all resident interactions
You Bring:
• Experience in resident engagement, community liaison, or customer‑facing roles within construction/social housing
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Organised, proactive approach with the ability to handle sensitive situations
• Strong customer service focus and attention to detail
