About the role
The role will involve all the tasks necessary for the successful delivery of the trial at the UCL site. This will include contacting GP practices, recruiting participants, carrying out assessments and obtaining informed consent. Contact with participants may necessitate evening and occasional weekend working and therefore a degree of flexibility in working hours is required. Most contact with participants will be via phone and video call but there might be some travelling required at times.
Appointment details:
1. The post is graded on the (non-clinical research staff Pay Scale Grade 6B), the annual salary for which ranges £39, to £41, (including London Allowance).
2. The appointment is available from 1 May and is funded for 13 months in the first instance.
Any offer of employment will be subject to an standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
About you
This is a developmental post and would be suitable for someone seeking a career in clinical research or in clinical psychology. The UCL Division of Psychiatry has an outstanding record in supporting the careers of their staff and there are many opportunities for personal development. Previous experience of recruitment in a health setting is essential and excellent communication skills are required.
