Senior Quantity Surveyor Prestigous flooring contractor The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of multiple high-value flooring projects following handover from estimating. This is a senior post-contract role central to the commercial performance of the business, providing strong financial control while allowing delivery teams to focus on programme, quality, and client relationships. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work closely with Contract Managers, the Operations team, and Directors to ensure robust cost control, accurate reporting, and effective commercial risk management across live projects. Key Responsibilities * Take full post-contract commercial responsibility for allocated flooring projects from handover through to final account. * Maintain strict control of project budgets, forecasts, and cost value reconciliation (CVRs). * Produce accurate and timely commercial reports aligned with programme progress. * Create and manage project-specific commercial trackers, schedules, and management tools. * Manage and commercially lead all variations, ensuring works outside agreed scope are identified, valued, and agreed. * Maintain live variation and risk registers, escalating matters where commercial exposure exceeds agreed thresholds. * Support Contract Managers by converting programme infor...
